DIY Fresnel Lens

There are a lot of uses for Fresnel lenses in DIY solar. The key issue is to be very careful, because the concentrated solar energy generated by Fresnel lenses can, and will, burn, melt or destroy most things... Please Be Careful!See More

Hi Doug !

Thanks for your links and your message ! I'll be free from my job as a slave-executive in a big big big company in 22 days ! I can't wait !!!!
Then it's gonna be time to search for a house with some land, very far from big cities of course, and try to enjoy what I call "true independance".
My project is really to developp a real autonomy, as far as energy is concerned, with solar panels, wind turbine, and also a generator running on biogas. The three energy sources could be linked and managed by a computer + software (to be developped). I'll keep a small link with the world via a dish that can give internet access via satelite. Of course, my food will call from my land (vegetables, fruits, and some eggs through hens and chickens) as I'm a veg, it's easy for me.
Take care, and we'll talk again soon.
Bye
E /
